US ski star Lindsey Vonn has resumed training just weeks after her horrific crash at the Milan/Cortina Winter Olympics.
Only 25 days after the serious accident during the downhill race in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the 41-year-old posted a video on Instagram on Thursday.

"Definitely some hard times but still thankful... still working hard. The only goal is to get healthy. One day at a time," Vonn wrote alongside the clip.
The video shows the 2010 Olympic champion training her thighs, shoulders and core, as well as her back and arms. At one point, treatment is given to Vonn's badly injured left leg. At the end of the clip, she even manages to get up from her wheelchair.
Vonn suffered a complex tibia fracture in her crash during the Cortina downhill. After a hospital stay in Italy, she was taken by ambulance to the airport and flown back to the United States.
In the coming weeks, Vonn hopes to switch from a wheelchair to crutches.
She estimated it will take about a year for the bones in her left leg to heal. After that, she will decide whether the metal implants inserted during surgery should be fully removed. Only then is a further operation planned to complete the treatment of her torn cruciate ligament.
Vonn suffered the ligament tear during a World Cup race shortly before the Olympics. Despite the injury, the two-time world champion still competed in Italy.
