Texas A&M softball went 3-2 at the Shriner's Clearwater Invitational in Florida last weekend and the tournament traveling continues west to California for the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.

The No. 13 Aggies opened the tournament Thursday with a 2-1 loss to No. 14 Oregon and an 11-5 win over No. 14 Duke (a team they lost to last weekend). The victory train continued Friday with a 5-2 win over UC San Diego. The Aggies have a doubleheader against No. 8 Nebraska and Loyola Marymount before one final game Saturday against No. 11 UCLA.

(Texas A&M athletics)Two-way player Jordy Frahm and the Cornhuskers upset Texas Tech 3-2 last weekend in Clearwater on a Hannah Coor RBI single. Frahm is in a three-way tie for 11th in the country for strikeouts with 39.
Loyola Marymount has an ERA of 1.38, good for fifth in the country, but the bats have been quiet scoring only four home runs.
