The Boston Celtics might get new big man Nikola Vucevic back soon. Vooch has been rehabbing a broken ring finger that happened almost as soon as star Celtics forward Jayson Tatum returned to action from the Achilles tendon injury he suffered in the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals, a player he will likely see a lot of playing time with given each have a complimentary play style for the other.
And Boston had just started getting familiar with the Montenegrin big man's game and vice versa. Just how much of a boost will the former Chicago Bulls center give the Celtics as the postseason draws near? And for that matter, will he now be on par with backup big Luka Garza when it comes to playing time, ahead of him, behind, or in more of a situation role?
