The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) recently issued a notification extending the deadline for registering for the JKCET 2026 application form for admission to BE and BTech programs.

JKCET 2026 Registration: How To Apply
Candidates can check out the JKCET 2026 Registration steps below:
Step 1: Visit the official website at jkbopee.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the "Click here to fill out the application" link.
Step 3: Add the important details, such as your name, email address, and mobile number, and generate a password.
Step 4: Once the candidate has successfully registered, the application number will be sent to the registered email address and mobile number.
Step 5: Candidates can now complete the application form by adding the personal details, Academic details and communication details.
Step 6: After completing the application form, candidates will be directed to the payment window.
Step 7: Select your preferred payment gateway and make a payment of Rs. 1200.
Step 8: After successful payment, candidates will be asked to upload their documents, such as photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions, as well as other certificates, in the format specified.
Step 9: Submit the application form after checking all the details

JKCET 2026 Registration: Eligibility Criteria
The JKCET 2026 eligibility criteria require candidates to be Indian citizens who are at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2026. Applicants must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates). They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as core subjects during their qualifying examination. Additionally, candidates who are taking their Class 12 or equivalent exams in 2026 are eligible to apply.
