Chiefs keep tabs on Moloisane, Ndlovu

According to Siseko Gwegwe, via Innocent Khabz on X, Kaizer Chiefs are targeting central defensive duo, Bright Ndlovu and Thabo Moloisane. Sekhukhune’s Ndlovu moved to Babina Noko in 2024, while Moloisane is a long-standing target after a string of impressive displays for Stellenbosch FC, where he’s an indispensable first-team regular. There have also been recent reports that Inacio Miguel is close to extending his contract with the Soweto giants. The Portugal-born defender will miss two upcoming league games through suspension after picking up an eighth booking of the season. That caution against Magesi was his 18th in 53 outings for Chiefs, a staggering number.

Chiefs are in pole position for third place if they win games in hand

After consecutive Betway Premiership wins over Durban City and Magesi, Chiefs are within touching distance of the top three. They trail third-placed AmaZulu by a point but, crucially, they have two games in hand on the Durban-based side.
