The future of Buffalo Bills receiver Keon Coleman has been up in the air ever since the owner put him on blast in that now infamous press conference.

Then we add in the trade of DJ Moore, and it does feel like Keon is being pushed down the depth chart of Joe Brady's offense.

Still, Brady has high hopes for Keon, but not many others do, and some think a move away is the best thing for the young receiver.

Sports Illustrated's Mike Kadlick has named six trades he would like to see, and has Keon going to the New Orleans Saints.

"After acquiring DJ Moore (and a 2025 fifth-round pick) from the Bears in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick earlier this month, Josh Allen and new head coach Joe Brady—who notably worked with Moore from 2020 to ‘21 while serving as the Panthers’ offensive coordinator—have their first top-tier wide receiver to work with since the days of Stefon Diggs," Kadlick wrote.

"Meanwhile, Keon Coleman, who Buffalo selected in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft, has failed to make an impact over the past two seasons and may be in need of a reset. Enter the Saints, who could use a developmental No. 2 target behind Chris Olave for second-year quarterback Tyler Shough to work and grow with."

Multiple problems with Keon trade idea

The first one for me, is that if Keon has been so bad in his two seasons and has had off-field issues, reportedly with discipline, then why would a team want to trade draft capital away to acquire him?

The second is, why would the Bills give up on a receiver on a rookie contract costing them next to nothing?

Yes, Coleman hasn't gotten off to a good start in his career, but things can turn around, especially with Brady now at the helm.

I get the need for change, but it has been two seasons in Buffalo.

Let's see how he fares in 2026 before making any sweeping statements.
