Sex Pistols, with Frank Carter, reschedule tour dates; announce Sept. 21 in Toronto

Anarchy in the U.K.? Not quite.
But the Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter (taking over for frontman Johnny Rotten/Lydon) have announced rescheduled North American dates including Sept. 21 at Toronto’s History.

The only other Canadian date is Sept. 22 at Montreal’s L’Olympia.
Carter (Gallows and Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes) and Sex Pistols original guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook, and bassist Glen Matlock, set off on Sept. 11 in Dallas to celebrate 50 years of punk and wrap up Oct. 18 in L.A.
The tour was originally halted in Sept. 2025 after Jones sustained a broken wrist, forcing the cancellation of all remaining North and South American dates before a single show was played. (It was originally Oct. 1, 2025, at History in Toronto.)
With Jones now fully recovered, the band is set to resume plans bringing this long-awaited run to audiences across the pond.
Jones said to be in good shape
“Mr. Jones here with an update on my wrist, I think it’s good enough to do the upcoming tour, now if I can just stop my legs from buckling up, I think I’ll be in good shape,” said Jones in a statement.
Jones previously said the falling out with Rotten happened following a bitter legal dispute over the use of the band’s music in the 2022 Danny Boyle-directed drama Pistol – a TV series chronicling the rise of the band – which Rotten legally contested but lost.
In addition to rescheduling select dates originally announced for 2025, the band has added new performances in Austin, Boston, Columbus, Houston, Kansas City, Phoenix, Nashville, Salt Lake City, and San Diego.
Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
In most markets, tickets purchased for tour dates postponed in 2025 will be honored at the rescheduled 2026 performances.

At each stop, fans can expect a full performance of the band’s landmark 1977 album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols, played in its entirety, along with additional material spanning the group’s catalogue.
More concert dates will be announced.
