SEC Women's Basketball Standings: Where LSU ranks after latest win

LSU women's basketball gained ground in the SEC standings thanks to two straight wins and movement towards the top of the list.

The Tigers, with a 10-4 SEC record, are in sole possession of fourth place in the conference standings. They were in a tie with Ole Miss at the beginning of the week but earned the outright position with a victory over the Rebels in Oxford on Thursday. They added a win over Missouri on Sunday.

Ole Miss trails behind in a tie with Tennessee at No. 6. The Volunteers were in second but a four-game losing streak sent them tumbling down the standings. They travel to Baton Rouge to play LSU on Thursday.

South Carolina remains atop the standings with a 13-1 conference record. Texas (11-3) and Vanderbilt (11-3) are tied for second. Oklahoma rounds out the top five at No. 5 with a 9-5 SEC record.

LSU completes its regular season schedule this week with games against Tennessee on Thursday and Mississippi State on Sunday.
