Lammens made the move to England in the summer of 2025, joining United from Royal Antwerp. Since then, he’s been working to adjust to the pace and intensity of the Premier League.
The 23-year-old made a name for himself at Royal Antwerp before attracting attention from Manchester United, who were looking to reinforce their goalkeeping options at the time.
United signed Lammens on deadline day in September for an initial fee of £18.1m, with further add-ons included in the deal.

Courtois, widely regarded as one of the top goalkeepers in world football, has built an impressive career across both England and Spain.
The 33-year-old started out at Genk before going on to play for Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.
Speaking with Man Utd’s official website, Lammens said Courtois is a prime example of Belgium’s growing reputation for producing quality goalkeepers.
Lammens added that he hopes to build a career that reaches those same heights one day. “So, I hope I can get my career going and to also maybe get to the point of that,” he said.

Lammens, who previously played for Club Brugge back home, said Belgium’s impact on goalkeeping is starting to match what the Netherlands have done over the years.
“If you also see the national teams, I think, in general, the goalkeeper quality in those countries is quite high,” he said.
“So, I think it’s no surprise for me that a lot of goalkeepers from Belgium and the Netherlands play in the Premier League now.”
Lammens went on to say: “It’s nice to see as well that, from a young age, they try to work with the goalkeepers and that it pans out well with the people coming through.”
In his first season at United, Lammens has played 21 times across all competitions and has kept four clean sheets in the league so far.
