Full list of new hires as Joe Brady fills openings on Bills' coaching staff

The Buffalo Bills made wholesale changes to their coaching staff already during the early stages of the 2026 NFL offseason.

At the top, Joe Brady was promoted to head coach. He quickly worked to name his coordinators: Pete Carmichael Jr. on offense and Jim Leonhard for the defense. In addition, former longtime NFL head coach John Fox was named a senior assistant.

Over the past few weeks, the vacant assistant positions were filled in on both sides of the ball as it relates to Buffalo's coaching staff.

Here are all of those hires on both offense, defense and special teams:

Offense

  • Run game coordinator/ tight ends coach: Rob Boras.
  • Assistant offensive line coach: Austin Gund.
  • Quarterbacks coach: Bo Hardegree.
  • Pass game specialist/ game management: Mark Lubick.
  • Assistant WR coach: DJ Mangas.
  • Offensive line coach: Pat Meyer.
  • Running backs coach: Kelly Skipper.
  • WR coach: Drew Terrell.

Defense

  • OLB coach: Bobby April III.
  • Secondary coach: Joe Danna.
  • ILB coach: John Egorugwu.
  • Defensive line coach: Terrance Jamison.
  • Senior defensive assistant: Jason Rebrovich.
  • Defensive quality control: Craig Robertson.
  • Cornerbacks coach: Jay Valai.
  • Defensive assistant: Alvin Vaughn.

Special teams

  • Assistant special teams coach: Turner West.
