The Top 50 Millennium [Goodyear, AZ] Tigers defeated the No. 14 Sunnyslope [Phoenix, AZ] Vikings in a 77-71 overtime thriller on Tuesday night.

The win for the Tigers avenged a 61-57 loss to the Vikings back on January 21. The two schools have been the best two public school programs in Arizona's boys basketball prep ranks this season, although the Grand Canyon State is also home to two highly-ranked national sports academy programs – the No. 1 AZ Compass Prep [Chandler, AZ] Dragons and No. 12 CIA-Bella Vista [Phoenix, AZ] Bears.

The classic between Millennium and Sunnyslope is one of the final tune-ups before Arizona's boys basketball postseason tips off in the coming days.

There was one other upset Tuesday evening involving teams currently ranked in The Sporting News High School Boys Basketball Top 25 as the No. 21 St. Frances Academy [Baltimore, MD] Panthers lost, 62-59, to the John Carroll [Bel Air, MD] Patriots, likely ending their run in the national Top 25.
